Nashville Pride Accessibility Guide

  • Parade Accessibility

Accessible parking is available in the Music City Center Garage, 1 block from the parade route.

Best viewing area is located at 5th and Broadway in front of Bridgestone Arena.

An ADA Shuttle will be available to transport attendees from Festival ADA Parking to the parade, and back to the festival. The Shuttle will pick up at 5th and Harrison starting at 9am and run until 2pm.

  • ASL / Sign Language Interpreter

    Parade

ASL interpretation will be at Broadway and 5th ave in front of Bridgestone Arena.

    Festival

ASL interpretation will be on the Equality main stage and the Rainbow Stage.

At the Equality Main Stage, the interpreters will be located Stage Right.

  • Questions during the festival?

The information booth in the center of the main lawn is a great resource for questions. In addition, this will be the location to recharge wheelchair batteries or other assistive technology. If you need to store equipment such as oxygen tanks or insulin, festival staff will register the equipment and place it in a safe location.

Anyone with a “STAFF” shirt or Radio can direct you or answer questions.

  • Recharge Station

Parades and festivals can be a lot! There are recharge stations around the festival to charge small devices such as phones.

There are 2 ADA charging areas, outside the ADA viewing area in the main lawn and at the corner of 6th and Junion Gilliam Way.

  • Restrooms

Throughout the venue there will be sanitary, wheelchair accessible restrooms which will be pinpointed on the Festival maps. ADA-accessible porta-potties are conveniently located in the following locations:

    6th and Harrison

    6th and Junior Gilliam Way

7th ave in Front of the Farmers Market

  • Parking

    There is designated handicap parking.

Additional handicap parking is available in city garages and private parking lots that surround the festival.

Handicap parking areas will require a current, valid state issued ADA placard or plates with corresponding placard or plate paperwork.

There is also a drop off area that can be accessed from 5th and Harrison.

  • Venue Accessibility

The Venue is fully navigational and accessible. There are accessible pathways throughout the venue. A portion of the event is on Grass.

  • Accessible Viewing Area

A raised and covered viewing area will be provided at the Main Stage. The ADA Viewing platform is located Stage Right in the main lawn.

  • ADA Entrance

There are many gate locations around the festival. Gates located on 6th Ave, 7th Ave, Locklayer, and Junior Gilliam Way are fully accessible. The Main Entrance on Harrison is not, so there is an ADA Entrance at the Round about on Harrison and 6th Ave. View the map to see specific location.

  • First Aid

The First Aid location is noted on the festival map. Professional medical staff will assist patrons with any medical issues that arise. Our team will be guiding patrons to First Aid if a medical emergency arises.

Safety & Emergencies:

First Aid: The safety of our guests is our top priority. Heat is the biggest health risk in June and generates the most calls for medical attention so it’s critical to bring hydration and refill your water bottles on site. The First Aid location is noted on the festival map. Professional medical staff will assist patrons with any medical issues that arise. Our team will be guiding patrons to First Aid if a medical emergency arises.

If you need assistance feel free to approach our friendly staff or volunteers or make your way over to one of our 2 First Aid Stations:

  1. 6th and Harrison, near the main entrance

2. 7th and Locklayer
